Roger > 8-18-09 Pier at Padre Island, TX. I actually took this shot a couple of days ago. I am just now getting home and going through my vacation shots. Had a GREAT time!
Roger > 2-21-09 While testing out a new lens, decided to take a couple of shots of this 9-11 Memorial in honor of the flight crews that lost their lives on that day. This Memoral can be seen from the air as you make your final approach into DFW International Airport. Thank you Grapevine TX, this is a very touching tribute.
Roger > 2-19-09 Not a new shot..I have been working on getting good results in converting digital color to B&W (my favorite medium). This longhorn can be seen in the Fort Worth Stock Show gallery as originally shot. Here is a B&W conversion, actually converted to look like a Holga shot....needs work, but I am pleased with the results I'm getting so far. Not there yet, but will be soon! (My newest obsession)
Roger > 3-01-09 Perry Cemetery visited again today after not getting the shots I wanted yesterday because I foolishly left the house with only one battery.
Roger > 2-28-09 (Carrollton TX) I waited all day for sunset so I could get some shots in this small cemetery. Word of advice to all- Bring an extra battery with you where ever you go. I knew my battery was "kind of" low...I managed about 6 shots before I had to head home. I did manage this one though. Oh well...some other time I guess.
Roger > 2-15-09 Nothing special here today. I took this capture while out and about today. I figured I was falling behind on my Photo A Day, better get one up!
